For sale is a 1979 Pontiac Trans Am. I don't know a lot about the car. I took it on trade and have only owned it a short time. Unlike many of these cars. this one is almost rust free. Other than surface rust on things such as leaf springs. there is only one spot of rust that I can find. It is a small area in the floor pan under the back passenger seat (see photo). There are a few minor dings. The worst being on the front passenger fender (see photo). The engine is a 403 Oldsmobile. Haven't checked numbers to see if it's original. Engine starts easily and seems to run well. It has an exhaust leak on passenger side. Under the hood seems very original and doesn't appear to have been altered much . Transmission shifted fine during the short time I have driven the car. Rear end still has tag. Interior is in serviceable condition. There are cracks in dash pad. console door and armrest/door pull (needs new). Tachometer and speedometer not working. Seats. carpet. and headliner are all original and in ok condition for a 35 year old car. Still has original AM/FM radio. I have a decal kit with gold decals which goes with car. Original color of car was white. I know I haven't covered everything. so send any question or text/call me at 706-781-8829. This car is being relisted due to a bidder not having the money to purchase when he bid. This also prevented me from selling the car from the two other bidders who had also bid. Please don't do this to me. Car is for sale locally. If I get a bid I will not sell locally. Thank you.
