Car description |
---|
1969 Pontiac GTO true 242 car. Car is incomplete as seen in pictures but a very good project car physically. PS but not PB or A/C car. Has title from previous owner, purchased from him about 2 months ago. Odometer reading 34,431 but previous owner said it rolled over 1 time. Has been in dry storage since 1993, was wrecked in front so endura nose, hood, and passenger fender missing. Also no rear deck lid or rear bumper. Also no motor or transmission but was a 4 speed car and still has pedals and very good center console. Car was fairly basic based on PHS report, was sold in Jacksonville, Florida.
Very straight body, great interior floors with some pinhole rust in trunk. Great frame, slight rust at front cowl at window, some rust around rear window lower area as is typical (comes with replacement GM panel). Rear quarters have a little rust also, one replacement panel provided. Dash has a few cracks and was loosely mounted back in along with a few others. Some wiring harness is missing also but quite a bit still available. The upholstery is in very good shape but one hole in passenger top from rat, seat tracks excellent. Quite a few parts and extras as seen, not everything is there to put it back. Front radiator support is also new (GM replacement from early 90s also), surface rust on driver fender with some rust in lower section. All glass available as well as extra back glass and rear quarter windows. Unsure of rear gear ratio, does have a posi-traction tag on cover. Shocks are not mounted, that is why it sags in the rear.
Car to be picked up in Ozark, Alabama.
