The first line of the PHS reads ( M21 4 SPD Manual Transmission - Close Ratio)I was told that all Pontiac/Trans Am factory 4 speed transmissions between 1977 and 1979 were Borg Warner 4 speed Transmissions. This one is identified as a M21 4 speed on the PHS. I myself owned several trans ams and they were all ( Borg Warner 4 speed transmissions)This definitely makes the car unique and extremely rare. On Jan-11-15 at 13:14:43 PST. seller added the following information:I was told that the M21 on the PHS may be a option code and the car would still have a Borg Warner transmission. I looked under the car and it is a Borg Warner 4 speed with the serial number of the car stamped on the side of it. On Jan-11-15 at 16:52:54 PST. seller added the following information:Yes.
