Car description

I was driving down the road and spotted this car a few months ago. these are the coolest looking cars of the 90's, I was thinking that these and the cutlasses with the small headlights are awesome considering the 90 sucked for car styles.. My 19 year old boy drives a 2001 Monte Carlo and its rusting out. Every time I passed this car I kept thinking that this is unbelievably clean. So I stopped and found out about it. It was never in the snow and the underneath shows it. Its spotless under it. I was blown away. The engine compartment is like its a 10 thousand mile car.( look at the Pictures). So I bought it for my son in mind. When I drove it, it ran a bit sluggish and I was thinking that this was a dog.. After driving it for a week or so it seemed to hesitate.and to top that, it was leaking oil. SO, i researched a ton on the 3100 engine and I found that they are incredibly reliable but they have intake manifold issues that cause to them leak. SO. after spending some cash, I replaced the valve cover intake gaskets with the metal and rubber Felpro set. the car was still running like crap so I figured that I'm not going to put my son in this so it needed to be fixed. I replaced the IAC valve and 3 coil packs and a Ignition controller. and BAM.. this car woke up and drives like new. I did some research after the fact and it was found out that the coils on these cars suck.
Work done
Intake Manifold Gasket
6 plugs
6 wires
3 coils
1 ignition controller
1 IAC valve
1 Oil Pressure Sensor. (thought it was leaking)
The BAD ( not so bad)
The top of the steering wheel has a small notch in it. it looks like some old lady with a ring kept her hand right in the same spot.
the wheels have some black paint peeling off in a few spots. (easy fix) I'm just very picky and wanted to mention it. the roof right over the drivers door has a wave in it.
The GOOD
This car drives like its Brand New. Looks like its Brand New. The interior is like Brand New. There is no wear on any of the stereo buttons or the steering wheel buttons or any buttons. its like new!! Tires are like new, Brakes are like new.
The REASON I'm selling it.
My 19 year old boy has been handed things to him his whole life ( MY FAULT ) . I'm a single Dad and have full custody of my boys and Guilt got the best of me over the years. No more! He loves and wants it, but hes not willing to work for it.SO. I'm selling it.
If I didn't have an Altima SER, and love it so much, I would keep this one for me.
