Car description |

1966 Tempest and parts- I am not a Pontiac expert so best to look at the pictures and I will try to answer questions best I can. The car does not have the rear window divider which I am told is a plus.
The car has a very solid and rust free frame, other than light surface rust. The front floor pans have holes but don't seem to extend to the inner rockers. The doors are not great but could be repaired and used. The door panels are not bad. Hood and truck seem decent and solid and could be used. Front fenders are usable but will require some work on the bottom portions. Inner fenders are very solid and rust free other than some minor surface rust. The front grill and valance appear to be decent and very usable.
The dash does not appear to have any rips or tears and is completely intact along with the gauges and the original Pontiac radio. Center console is decent, but the chrome may have some pitting. All the glass is present and seems to be decent. The car has what appears to be only one original Pontiac steel rim.
I have all of the engine parts except the connecting rods and pistons. The engine, block, heads, crank and intake are from are from a 1972, 400 Cubic Inch Pontiac. These parts have been rebuilt / machined by Precision Auto in Cortland NY.
The heads have been rebuilt and appear to have all new valve, springs, guides, seals, and hardware. The crank is polished and appears to be std, same as with the block. Block was hot tanked, magni fluxed, honed, and converted from 2 bolt mains to 4 bolt mains.
Transmission is a Turbo Hydra-Matic (THM) 400, with the PD code from a 400 cubic in engine.
The car is on a 16 ft plus dual axle trailer that could be included in the sale for an additional monies.
I have a bill sale for the car and trailer.
If you need other pictures please let me know.
