Car description |

This is the last legitimate American muscle-car barn find.!!!!! People dream about finding one of these.
This special option 1965 Pontiac GTO in Tiger Gold was painted green sometimes in the 1960's.
The car was purchased by a young man that completely disassembled the car in 1979 and put it in his fathers house.....literally. He left for the Marine Corps and the GTO has sat there untouched in a heated dry storage area since 1979.
Te GTO has a clear title ready to go.
The car is nearly 100% rust free and is nearly complete. The pictures here show 37 years of dust but the car is nearly completely free of rust or corrosion!!!! The interior is complete but you can imagine from being stored in a house 37 years it is not "like new".
A factory 389 four speed car at birth, the car comes with every part that was removed with the exception of the original block and transmission. We have no idea where they went over the years. It has the original heads, crank, drive shaft and what looks to be everything else. There is a Pontiac block included that was found with the car.
Everything under the hood, interior, body panels, nuts, bolts, trim, panels, seats, pedals were all meticulously bagged and boxed and are included. Even the radio.
Fenders are flawless as are quarters, rockers, floor pan, doors, inner fenders etc etc etc.
I recently discovered this amazing car through a friend of the original owner and intended on restoring it for my son but my plans have changed.
Please feel free to contact me with any questions you may have. I have at least 50 other pictures from inside, above, under and up-close.
GTO's are one of the rarest and best examples of American muscle cars, and to find one this clean and complete is incredibly rare.
This car would be a wonderful addition to any muscle car collection and a real investment opportunity.
