1978 Pontiac Trans AmHere's a rare chance toown ayour very own late seventies Pontiac Trans Am. A truebarn/garage find with the desirable 400 Pontiac engine and automatic transmission. This two owner car was stashed away in a dry heated garage with a concrete floor in northwest Indianafor the last 16 years where it sat up on blocks. This car was brought back toour shopwhere the carhad thefuel system flushed and cleaned, resh full service oil change... includingoil, ilter, uel filter, grease job, luids, ifferentialservice etc.. Each cylinder was inspected with ascope andin excellent condition, s expected with only 83k miles on it. All cylinders were lubed with marvel mystery oil and let to soak. The engine was then turned over by hand, new plugs installed and test ran. Theengineruns very strong and istight and responsive. The transmission go's thruall the gears smooth and correctly with no issues. The car was parked dueto the tickets the guys wife was getting. We took all the pictures from the way we found the car to it's present condition. The car had some modifications done in the eighties and it has a cool old schoolvibeto it. All the pin striping on the car is old school hand painted from back in the day by an artist named Jody that signed it on the deck lid. Even the screamin' chicken on the hood is all done by hand. The car hashad arepaint and the paint isn't perfect butit's fine for a driver. The floors, runk, ear frame rails etc. are very solid. The car needs some lovebut itwould make for a very easy and enjoyable winterproject. I have too many cars in the works at this time to take this one to the next level so I'm passing it on for someone else to enjoy.
