The item up for sale is a 1940 Plymouth Road King Business Coupe. It's been in my family since approximately 1976. It's been stored in the garage pretty much since then. All of the work that had been done on it was done back in the 1980s. The engine is a 283 small block Chevy with solid lifters and the transmission is a Muncie 4spd. The rear-end is from a 57 Chevy. It had some machine work done on the front end to install GM style disc brakes. The brakes and all other systems would need to be gone through and repaired. It would need a new master cylinder and possibly rear wheel cylinders and front calipers. The gas tank is not in the car but I do have an original one for the car. I encourage anyone that is interested in it to come and look at it. It is located in Weirton, WV which is about 30 mins west of Pittsburgh, PA. This is local pickup only. There is no shipping unless it is arranged by the buyer in which case the car would need to be paid for beforehand with an adequate amount of time for the check to clear which could be 10-14 days.
