1965 PLYMOUTH VALIANT V-200 CONVERTIBLE ARIZONA CAR

1965 Plymouth Valiant V-200 convertible. Has the 225 slant six with 904 Torqeflite automatic transmission. 2 owner car prior to my purchase in May of this year. I purchased from second owner who bought it in 1985. He said motor and transmission were rebuilt in 1985 but had no receipts. The car was not driven for 5 years prior to me buying it. It ran and drove when I bought it and I drove it home. Car runs and drives ok but needs a good going through.
Things I have done since purchasing:* New plugs and plug wires* New cap and rotor* New brake shoes on all four corners* New front brake self adjuster kits (They were missing)* New front wheel bearings* Adjusted valve lash and set timing
The charging system was not working when I purchased the car. Had a newer battery and alternator. I put a new voltage regulator in and now it fluctuates between 13 and 15 volts and the lights pulse. The car has an electronic ignition upgrade. All light, turn signals, wipers blower motor, horn and radio work. Only gauge working is gas gauge but not sure how accurate it is as I have never filled it completely. Speedometer cable is bad and disconnected. Comes with a new one.
The body is in very nice shape with no rust I can see. The convertible top and plastic back window are fairly new and in excellent shape. It is a manual top!!! Has had one repaint years ago and the Arizona sun has burned through the clear coat on the trunk and hood. The sides still look great. All the chrome and bright work is very nice. Has nice 13" wheels and hubcaps.The interior is in good shape except for the drivers side seat. The back seat is near perfect. I have the front armrests but they are unusable. The rear armrests are dried and cracked.
All the glass is good but windows are hard to roll up and down. Previous owner said he "put stuff in the doors to keep the windows from rattling". It needs the window felts and door weather stripping.

Comes with a some extra parts including a complete air conditioning system with compressor, condensor, hoses and under dash unit. Prior owner removed this when he had engine rebuilt and chose not to reinstall it. The compressor bracket and accumulator are still attached.
