Car description |
---|
For your pleasure a 1970 AAR tribute that has the absolute look and feel inside and out as the original collector AAR accurate down to the rear antenna to the side out exhaust, non AC dash, flat black body paint etc. Under the car, under the hood its a monster reinvigorated to be a relevant car as fast as it looks. I started with a 1970 AAR Tribute that was a very decent always rust free California Limelight car so this is the original color as well. I handed the vehicle over to a local muscle cars shop with a design and inspiration which was to create a beautiful AAR that had something under the hood that would take down the modern muscle cars and especially tuner cars but be the ultimate cruiser cross country. And yet retain all the look and feel and accuracy of the 1970 AAR series. With a budge of $100,000.00 we started by sourcing a the stronger 6.1 Hemi over the 6.4 and a new Dana 60, New Tremec 6 speed manual and many other items. Below is a general list of highlights in the build. There is a parts sheet 6 pages long, write up and pictures. If you are truly interested in this car you are welcome to contact me for more photos and information. 612-964-7609Highlights: This list isn't a complete list as its just the basics, the supporting parts are too numerous to list but are available and can be text or emailed to interested buyers.
This car is basically a new one with everything being brand new front to back, the LED headlamps, full wiring, hoses, even the ECU is new and custom tuned, all that's left from the 6.1 engine is the block. All the suspension, components, tires, rims, brakes, even the seats and foam are new. This car puts out about 535HP and has been Dyno tuned.
Car was FJ5 Limelight, FJ5 matching roof, black leather interior v8 car. For a pic of the Original Vin Plate just text me.
This car wasn't built to sell it was built to enjoy and has a purpose. That purpose is to look exactly like a 1970 AAR but have the glory it once had, be able to easily be driven cross country and be able to give any car a run for its money.
$80,000 invested for this build 3,000 miles ago and I have every receipt.Has some imperfections such as light bubbling near the side out exhaust due to the temp of exhaust. Everything on this car works very well, rims and tires are new.
I have owned this glorious machine since early 2015 and I have loved every minute of it, it drives like a new car and has more power than a new SRT8, it gets decent fuel economy too and is built for cross country touring with the 6 speed and general reliable build of the car. Has a few security features as well which I will only tell the new buyer.
Shipping anywhere in the US enclosed is about $1300 right now and $700 for the local states. This is an American treasure and always will be but since its not a matching numbers car I will sell it overseas as well.
You are asking why I am selling my dream car, my ultimate super car muscle car? I actually need it for a serious investment that is coming soon but expect to receive a call asking to buy it back! For more questions, an in person showing, technical data or questions, extra photos call your text me at 612-964-7609 Thank you!
