Car description

#s match motor, trans and color! Has original build sheet and fender tag. I'm in our shop right now with 5 employees. Everyone of us is admiring how nice this Roadrunner really is. Our upholstery guy just walked in and said "that car is awesome" 75,000 original, well cared for miles. EXTERIOR: The body and paint are slick. From what I can tell it's always been a good clean body. The 1/4 panels are the originals, the driver side lower... was replaced. It's laser straight down both sides, gaps are square. The windows fit snug. The doors shut like new, even with the windows up. The finish is as glossy a s a freshly waxed linoleum floor. The optional gloss black hood stripe is so smooth you cant feel it. It has the reflective Roadrunner dirt trail decal down the side. Up front the grill is in excellent condition, the bumper is show quality. Working my way back all the glass in this car is amazingly crystal clear, windshield is new with a new rubber gasket. All the stainless trim around the windows and glass is in excellent shape. Has original antenna. The vinyl top is in pristine condition. In back the bumper is bright chrome, clear reverse light lenses and the Roadrunner black stripe decal is new. Door jambs are painted nice and slick, bottom of the doors are clean, new weather strips. The rims are painted gloss black, the poverty hubcaps are very nice. Has reproduction redline tires. INTERIOR: Interior is just as impressive as the outside. The upholstery and cushions are like sitting in a new car. The rest of the interior is very good original. Door panels look like they're very nice original. The dash area is excellent, it does have the Rallye gauges with tachometer. All the plastic is in really nice shape, nothing's broken or beat up. Gauges, heater controls, vents, steering wheel are real nice. Glovebox liner is nice. Up above; the headliner, visors, shoulder belts and mirror are excellent. Interior lights work. The best part of the interior- the pistol grip 4-speed! Yeah baby. That is a cool feeling holding that handle and putting it through the gears. Something a Chevy lover may never get to experience. ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Very impressive. The engine bay has it's original red paint that it left the factory with and it still really nice. The metal is rust free, straight and has clean seams. VIN number match 383 Magnum looks new from pan to air cleaner. All factory components. Correct dual snorkel air cleaner with the pie pan insignia on top and crinkle finish is excellent condition. Stock manifolds, valve covers etc. Original Mopar radiator and correct shroud. Has desirable power steering. And it wouldn't be a Road Runner without the "meep meep" horn, yes it works! TRUNK COMPARTMENT: All the trunk floors is rusted in these cars, this one survived remarkably well. It is the original trunk floor with little bit of pitting, but still rock solid. It also has new mat, correct Jack and a matching spare- black painted rim with redline tire. The bottom of the trunk lid out and jamb have slick paint. There is also an air nozzle to fill the shocks. UNDERSIDE: Good old solid, original underside. The floors and frame rails look original. The 4-speed is vin number matched to the car. Ball joints are new. In back it has air shocks. Fuel tank and sending unit was replaced. This car speaks for itself. Has all the obvious signs of a well cared for car. Hard to find in a muscle car, especially a Road Runner. This one is a keeper. I didn't mention how sharp looking it is because like I said: "It speaks for itself "! I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my professional impression of the vehicle. Our salesmen are happy to assist with descriptions and making sure your questions are answered.
