For sale is my 1970 Plymouth duste, fresh 72 dated 340 with 1970 head, flywheel clutch pressure plate and linkage factory on the floor not converted from the colum, all internals of engine are new including cran, LD 340 intake with 750 Demon carb,engine runs perfect no issues good oil pressur, fresh oil in 4 speed 83, rear end is 8.25 410s on a spool, new bucket seatskins on front seats all new tires all 4 corners brakes are weak but need bleeding, exhaust needs to welded to header, I bought the car out of Georgia without drive train it caught my eye to be set up old nostalgia style like back in the day when I had my first duster I had no desire to change it, car moves on its own power just don't have the momentum to finish the last minor things to actually drive i, like finish up the brakes and hook up exhaus, the body seems soli, no rust issue, beings I bought it from Georgia it came with a bill of sale on I do have the Florida vin inspection, it is priced more than fair if we cant meet reserve ill keep it till the momentum returns
On Mar-11-19 at 13:14:47 PDT, seller added the following information:Just want to make all things clear I have had a few questions ill try to answer for al, undercarriage of car is clean and solid no rust issues that I have detected solid floor pans frame rail, I have done nothing to the body since I bought it more than a couple years ago I like what I seen and what it i, as for the body I would assume back in the day of the cars prime whoever set it up to look like it is did good if you like nostalgi, and I d, it has its body dings here and there it is not a show car but its a solid car with the desired drive train of its tim, it does not appear to be a rust bucke, passenger seat skin needs to be installed but it comes with the ca, as for the tranny it came with the car and seems to be fin, the linkage needs to be adjusted it hits all gears but I cant get reverse the shifter is an after market Indy but I bought a factory pistol grip handle for it and installed i, I will try my best to find time to adjust linkage before auctions end I just drove it up and down my road so it does move under its own powe, also just 600 bucks for a new correct drive shaft all new u joints and yolk for trann, if for any reason I cant get the linkage adjusted ill replace the tranny with another 388 4 speed I have in a 71 Demon backed with a 1970 340 and this Demon will be listed soon as wel, it is not as far along as the duster and is not part of this auction
