1969 Plymouth Roadrunner true RM23 code car up for bid.The car had a no expense spared, complete restoration done by a reputable body shop for Mecum Auctions several years back.It has a numbers matching 383 big block, bored .030 over with forged pistons, Lunatti Cam 292/440- complete rebuild and balanced. Edelbrock performer intake and 650CFM carb, electronic ignition, mopar performance valve covers and intake, braded coolant lines, Jegs aluminum radiatior, polished chrome high output alternator, and much more! Trans is a 727 with B&M shifter. Rear is a 8-3/4" Chrysler with 4.10 Richmond Gears and an Auburn Posi trac unit. Long tube headers with hi flow straight mufflers and turn outs under the car. Under the hood looks clean enough to eat off of and obviously with the mod list, the car has a ton of power and sounds great! I've never drag raced it but I imagine it would do pretty good! The undercarriage is really clean and no rust that I have found anywhere. The body is in excellent overall condition and has fiberglass bumpers and 6 pack hood, with recessed door handles and was finished in House of Kolor Tangelo Pearl. Has a mini tub with rear springs re-located to clear the P265/50/15 BF Goodriches out back. All 4 tires are like new (265/60/15 rear, 215/65/15 fronts) and are on excellent polished Colorado Custom wheels. The paint is extremely deep and shines like you wouldn't believe. This car turns heads and snaps necks everywhere I take it. The interior was done in a really cool vintage tweed like material on the everything and is in very good shape. Could use a shampoo and minor detail but could be easily shown now. Under the door panels are custom roadrunner outlines that add a really nice touch. And yes, the car has the purple "Beep Beep" horn under the hood that everyone is crazy about lol. The body is very solid and only has very minor defects from years of use. If I were being extremely nit-picky, there are a couple tiny runs in the paint that don't show up for pictures and are hard to find. The fiberglass bumpers have some very minor cracks in the paint typically of fiberglass bumpers. Again, that is being really nitpicky but you can tell from my feedback, that I try to describe things accurately. The car has a clean/clear title in hand and is ready to go to a new owner. Due to the value, I prefer to talk to potential bidders so feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions. I can help with transport if need be, just let me know. I try to be fair and run a true no reserve auction, where the high bid wins. $500 paypal deposit due within 48 hours of auction end. Full payment due within 7 days unless other arrangements are made prior to the end of the auction. Any funds must FULLY clear before I'll let the car and title leave my possession. Thanks and good luck!
