950 Quick Fuel Carburetor..6 speed Tremec TKO 600 with .64 to 1 over drive.Transmission tunnel modified for Tremec Transmission.650 HP McLeod clutch with hydraulic clutch linkage.DTS Dana 60 rear end, 354 gear and Strange street axles.Slide-A- Link Traction Bars.Frame connectors (rectangular channel) front to back.Underside of body and frame undercoated.Steering parts replaced with OEM.Steering box rebuilt by Chicago Power Steering.All new brake lines and master cylinder.SSBC disk brakes front and rear.Vacuum Pump.Gas tank cleaned, coated and sump ted with electric fuel pump. Fuel recirculates.Two new Interstate batteries in trunk with cut-off switch.Aluminum Radiator with dual Flex-Lite Fans.Ceramic coated slip headers.TTI exhaust - ceramic coated all the way back.New vinyl top.Interior needs finishing - drivers seat and tunnel lights.
At only 2000 RPM, this drive train pushes the Fury at 65 MPH. 3rd gear goes right by 100 MPH.This car comes with the original drive train: Factory 383, 4 speed and rear end.The car has the original Operating Instructions, dealer brochure and a Service Manual.This Fury has the Flow Through Ventilation which was only available in the 1967 model. This needs to be reconnected.There is an optional John Cope reverse valve body 727 available for this car. Hits like a sledge hammer. Pulled a 12.16 at Route 66 Raceway, Joliet, IL.I opted for the Tremec 5 speed for cruising.Owned this car for 10 years and bought it because it is a Factory Original 4-speed car.
