Car description

First of all, this is a real Plum Crazy GTX. It is not a Roadrunner or Satellite clone. It deserves to be restored. It's 1 of 105 ever built, and was very well-optioned when it left the factory. I purchased the car from the original owner back in 1997. He had purchased it new from Karp Chrysler Plymouth on Long Island upon completion of his tour-of-duty in Vietnam. As he told me, "With the exception of one lamp, and including my wife, I've kept this car longer than anything else in my life." I did a light restoration on the car at that point and drove it for several years. After a minor collision, I decided to have the car "restored correctly." After that, a series of unfortunate events basically let the car become victim to several disreputable restoration shops, and this is how the car sits today.
Other than being a real in-violet / plum crazy 440 GTX, it's equipped with black bucket seat interior, console automatic with slap-stick shifter, air conditioning, power disc brakes, 15"x7" rallye wheels, has a 3.55 Sure-grip 8.75, rear defroster, as well as a bunch of others. The reason the fender tag is being held in my hand as opposed to being on the car is that I didn't want it to rust any further or risk it being stolen / vandalized.
The car is obviously a mess; Just assume it needs everything. I'm happy to help with shipping. I am never going to build this car, so I've decided to let someone with the means to do so take a shot at it. I would not attempt to restore this car without a donor parts car. I'm listing it without reserve. It has a clear title, and was last on the road in 2005 or so. It rolls and turns easily, it has keys. What you see here is what you are buying. Assume you're buying a high-pedigree VIN, a fender tag, and a headache. Please do not message me asking if I have extra parts that you don't see here, or "how bad is the such-and-such." I assure you, it's a disaster. The fender inside the car belongs to a Dodge Diplomat, not this car. I didn't have the ability to remove it before taking these pictures.
Vehicle is located in New Jersey, and again, I'm happy to assist with shipping.
