Car description |

Up for auction is a 1957 Plymouth Belvedere 4 door mild custom hot rod. I have owned this car for 16 years and was bought from the original owner. It comes with theoriginalclear title from 1957. Starting with the body, t has new rockers except for driver side rear which didn't need to be replaced. Inner rockers were replaced as well as dog legs in front of rear quarter between rear doors. The front floors were patched as well. Rear floor was fine as seen from thepicturesprovided. There is about a six inch hole in the trunk which is the only spot left to patch. The front fenders are just lightly hung in place to receive body work. The passenger side fender is pretty much done except for the lower dog leg where it meets the rocker. The driver side will need a new headlight patch as seen in pics. The door handles were shaved to give it a cleaner custom look. I was going to install remote poppers to open the doors. Both bumpers will needre-plating. All trim comes with the car including the front grill as pictured. The side trim was also shaved but I kept the top trim in tact. I have good headlight buckets that come with it. The front splash aprons under the fenders will needrepairsor possiblyreplacements. The frame was completely stripped, rimed and painted with PPG D.A.R. 9000. The car has all new stainless break lines. New mastercylinder, heel cylinder and rear shoes. The front discs are from an 88 Chrysler 5th Ave with new calipers and pads. Brakes still need to be bled but car does stop. Gas tank is clean and drained but not hooked up to engine. Just needs the hose to the pump hooked up. Has all new stainless fuel lines installed. I was going to wait till hook up the tank till I was done welding in the trunk area. The car has miss-matched rims all the way around but tires hold air. Interior has been stripped and will need all new interior and door panels recovered.
