Car description |

This 1955 Packard "400" is almost completely original. Factory original paint, upholstery, carpets and trunk lining. Some minor new detailing has been done under the hood. Recent transmission seals, new hoses and all fluids just done. The Four Hundred is one of the most desirable post-war Packards and this car runs great. Recent trouble-free long trip to the Packard National Meet in Traverse City. Instrument panel looks new, but is original. Seat belts were added and it comes with a fitted "California Car Cover" plushweave. New Diamond Classic radial wide white tires and newly painted wheels make this car a dream to cruise down the road.
THEY ARE ONLY ORIGINAL ONCE. Chrome is very nice, considering it's original. No rust and car was purchased in New Jersey, but was not driven in the winters. Torsion-level suspension works great. Tourmaline and Moonstone two-tone paint appears to be almost all original, with a couple minor touch ups over the years. Some paper work comes with the car and a the most known owner history up to date.
This car is a great original "Time Capsule" at a reasonable price. Must make room for another Packard-so drive this one home!
