NO RESERVE** 1955 Packard Clipper Custom Constellation 2dr HT - Project Car
Exterior:As you can see in the photos the Packard requires a full restoration. The body is overall solid and an easy candidate for a restoration. Being the higher end model this car is worth the time and effort to bring it back to its former glory. Another option is to be a little different and make this into a nice "patina rod". The possibilities are endless, it's up to you to decide what direction you want to take this car in.
Interior:As you can see in the photos the interior is in tack, and available for patterns. The trim pieces are there, and ready for a full restoration, of if the patina rod is your direction, after a good cleaning the seats will cover up with a Mexican blanket, and you are ready.
Engine:The engine in the car is the 352 V8 (the bigger of the V8's offered). Although it isn't running or driving, the engine does turn over by hand, so its a good one for rebuild or maybe you have a crate engine or LS swap ready for this car?
Chassis:The chassis is solid, and complete, it would require a full restoration as the car hasn't been on the road in many years it will need all safety / drive items looked over and fixed if necessary.
Other:In closing I have nothing to hide on this car, it's a great project car priced well under Market / Book values. I don't have the time to bring this car back to life, but hopefully you do. These cars really do deserve more attention and value then they are getting. There are less than 7000 of these built, making it a fairly rare car in my books.
This car is located in Consul, Saskatchewan, Canada - US Buyers don't worry, it's easy to import these vehicles, we have sold a lot of cars to the US market in the past, and we are willing to assist.
Disclaimer:SOLD AS IS, WHERE IS, NO WARRANTY, NO REFUNDSThe buyer is responsible for all shipping costs - the seller does not ship or transport.$500 Deposit required within 48hrs of auctions end - the remainder to be paid in full within 7 days. The vehicle does not leave the sellers possession until all funds have cleared. - no exceptions
