You are bidding on a 1955 Packard Clipper 2dr HT (Super/Panama)
Selling NO RESERVE!!
Engine: 320ci V8 - Running and driving condition. The car starts and runs well but would benefit from all tune up items to get it running even better. Mostly from sitting and no being used as much as it should, so the basics plugs, wires, points, etc.
Exterior: This car is an older restoration but as you can see the exterior still shows well, it has "20 Footer" paint and body on it, and the chrome/stainless are as expected on an older restoration, but still show well. You could enjoy this car as is for many years or fully restore it to its former glory, it really up to you.
Interior: The interior is still in good condition from when previously restored, if I was to do anything it would be to change out the faded carpets (assume to be original), otherwise it shows well and can be used as is. If you were doing a #1 restoration it would need to be redone, but if you are going to drive it, no worries and you can use it as is.
Chassis: The car hasn't been driven a whole lot in the last few years so the brakes have gone soft, I would recommend going over the brakes and replacing the brake rubbers. It is a used car, so I would recommend checking over all safety items prior to putting it on the road again.
Other: Overall you are getting a great car here, although not perfect its not priced where perfect cars would be either. There is a lot of potential here, and opportunity for someone to give this car the TLC it deserves. You can easily put a little time, and a little money at this car and enjoy it just as is it, or you have a great start for a restoration and still priced under market value enough to make it worth it. There is nothing to hide here so ask as many questions as you like. Just over 7000 of these HT's made, if you consider how many are still around, that makes the a pretty rare car.
Disclaimer:SOLD AS IS, WHERE IS, NO WARRANTY, NO REFUNDSThe BUYER is responsible for all shipping costs - The seller does not ship or transport$500 Deposit required within 48hrs of auctions end - the remainder to be paid in full within 7 days. The vehicle does not leave the sellers possession until all funds have cleared. - no exceptions
