This particular Morris retains many of it's original characteristics, ncluding right hand drive as it was built in England and made from Ash woodIt has 35,000 original miles. It has been a St. Augustine, lorida resident for many years and a luggage rack and surfboard have been installed and go with the car to its new owner. Beach Patrol is lettered on the side. The paint has a great patina to it that is not blistered and has no rust holes. The wood is beautifully aged and in great shape. It's a solid and straight car. The hardware on this car is fully functional and denotes the craftsmanship of the times. Trim is stainless steel and is free of pits and dents and the badging in front and back are original and in nice shape. The floors are solid with no patches or holes.
Under the hood this Traveller has the original 1098 cc engine and a 12 volt electrical system. It starts every time and cruises around very pleasurably. I have recently installed new brake cylinders. The tires are - white wall- tires with 95 percent tread on them plus a new spare in the back under the floor. The wheels are original with the Morris logo on the hub cap. The transmission is a four speed manual and works very smoothly. The miles are believed to be true miles. No real way of tracking. It also has the original Morris shifter knob.
The interior is in very nice shape. Seats are comfortable and in really nice shape, omplete with seat belts. There is a spot on the upper right side in the rear that has ablemished spot, ut not down to the padding. I've tried to show it in the photos. The headliner is also in very good shape, oes not sag and is not torn. Carpet and door panels are very good as well. A JVC cd, p3 player has also been added to keep up with the times, nc. in the sale. All windows work and the glass in in great shape. Complete with an assortment of woody and beach stickers that include a Morris registry.
All around the car is in very nice shape and a blast to drive around. It goes without saying that it turns heads and starts conversations everywhere it goes. I have videos of the Morris where you can hear the motor running and see the car as if you were here. Paste the links below into your browser for a quick drive and walk around the car.
