1971 was the final year of a 53-year run for all Morris models—1948 to 1971. It was an extremely popular car in England, so popular that it was the first automobile in England to sell 1,000,000 units of a specific brand.

The history of this car is that the original owner bought it in 1971 and died within a short time after making the acquisition. His wife parked it in a barn for 20 years and finally decided to sell it in the early '90s. The second owner had a total restoration done on the car. He wanted to compete with it at car shows, which he did for a couple years and then sold it in 1995 to a couple who used it as a daily driver. Once they moved and no longer had a garage, they decided to sell it with the hope that it would go to a home with a garage. That was the current owner who's downsizing has brought about this sale. He bought the car in 2003 and immediately sent it to Cloverleaf Auto Service for major engine work. It has been serviced annually by Cloverleaf since then.

The current owner drove it about 800-900 miles a year, with 47,700 miles total on odometer. The current owner has put about 14,000 miles on it since 2003. The Morris has been garage kept since 2003. As an aside, the current owner has owned a Morris Minor continuously since 1962.

This Traveller runs beautifully and will have a current 2019 PA state inspection at the time of sale. The wood is in great shape as is the paint. The interior is like new. The tires are excellent and so is the suspension, brakes, and electricals. There are also plenty of spares to go with this beautiful automobile.
