This Berkeley SE-328 roadster was acquired as a basketcase project several years ago. The previous owner had disassembled it for restoration. but the project stalled out. We purchased it with the intent to pick up where he left off. but other priorities have continually put this little sportscar in the background. We finally decided it was time to pass it on to someone who will put it in the forefront and get it back on the road. We have taken the time to photograph all of the parts that are included with the body and chassis. so please browse through the images. Most of the parts required to reassemble the car to roller status are present. but please note. the 328cc Excelsior engine is not included. It was already missing when we purchased the project. Unfortunately. I am not a Berkeley expert. and I did not disassemble the car. so many of the parts are not familiar to me. If you do not see it. it is not part of the sale. The interior is mostly missing. but some scraps have been kept to help with restoration. A few extra parts are also included. such as the motorcycle coilovers that the previous owner had intended to run instead of the original parts. This is a project that needs everything. but most importantly. the fiberglass and aluminum reinforced unibody is in excellent condition with no major damage. The section cut from the hood by the previous owner to clear a large engine is included and can be bonded back into place. If you are concerned over parts and help. don’t fear. many are available; www. kipmotor. com/Berkeley. htm If you are unfamiliar with these cars; to say the Berkeley SE-328 is small is an understatement.
