Car description

Italian design, American V8 power, and one-of-a-kind presentation make this 1973 De Tomaso Pantera GTS a car that will always be exotic. This is a truly beautiful example that has gone less than 16,600 miles in its lifetime, and better still, only about 2,000 miles on it since a full restoration completed in 2016. So you are looking at a fresh, bright, and aggressive total package. This is a truly a one-of-a-kind supercar. This GTS is wearing a Cristofaro full body kit that was specially made for this car and applied to no other one in the world (the consignor actually has the only mold to make it!) The look is absolutely stunning as the deeper chin spoiler, artfully sculpted sides, and sweeping fender flares create a classic with modern supercar appeal. It also includes a carbon fiber hood and doors to really make this a great mix of vintage and modern. The new red paint has the kind of shine to ignite passion - like a good Italian design should. And the full aggressive package is made possible with the addition of all the black elements like the hood vents, bumperettes, sport mirrors, side trim, and custom three-piece forged alloy wheels. Open the door and you'll see the interior has flipped the color theme to black with red aggressive touches. You see it on the custom black suede sports seats with red stitching. This matches the custom door panels and dash for a full uniform appearance. There are some nice upgrades like an AM/FM/CD stereo with aux input and R134a air conditioning. But this is far from just being a coddler. You have competition-grade equipment, like the custom roll cage, Momo Corse steering wheel, and four-point racing harnesses. You have the correct Veglia speedo and tach directly in front of you (the KM/H is a reminder this is a Euro import,) and a full upgraded AutoMeter auxiliary readout panel is now in the center stack. The best mix of vintage and upgrades on this supercar is reserved for the engine bay. This still utilizes Ford power, but with a lot more strength. It starts with a NASCAR-style 351 Windsor block. It has been stroked to a massive 427ci total, and the build also includes the right performance pieces to fortify and enhance this V8. It includes Diamond Racing pistons, Kryptonite crank, forged rods, Yates-style heads, Jesel roller rockers, Comp Cams camshaft & roller lifters, Ron Davis aluminum radiator, Edelbrock Victor intake, and a FiTech fuel injection system that can be controlled from within the cabin. This is a serious V8, and so you'll be glad to have full control over it with the ZF five-speed manual transmission that was rebuilt by Precision Performance in 2016. And when you get this one out on the road, the fully-independent sports suspension, extra wide modern performance tires, and Wilwood drilled & slotted four-wheel disc brakes all come together to make this a genuine supercar experience. This is a very well executed upgraded classic De Tomaso that intimidates modern supercars. It even comes with the build receipts and restoration photos to prove it. So if you appreciate brilliant performance in a one-of-a-kind package, call today!
