1985 MERCEDES-BENZ W126 500SEL EURO SEDAN

I bought this car from a long time friend who had owned it since 1992. It is a well maintained exampleof the flagship Mercedes SEL class. A true Euro car, the dash controls and owner's manual are printedin German, it does have an American spec speedometer. He lives in Atlanta, Ga. but kept the car onSea Island for summer use. Please notice that it has the Euro headlights and thin front and rear bumpers which gives the car a really different look from the normal W126 cars. I went completely over the car, had all the A/C vacuum control modules replaced for proper climate control operation, along with an oil change and transmission fluid and filter change. One power window motor was replaced, and the driver's memory seat module as well. It has the original radio and it works. Some wear in front seat cushions, the wood over glove compartment will need to be re-glued to dash. I intended to use it as a daily driver but it is too nice and too rare for that. Just installed new tires, the car can be driven anywhere with no problems. I am losing storage and must clear some things out. The book value on this car varies from $12,000 to $15,000.
