Note: Bids from bidders with feedback history of 5 or less will be deleted unless you contact the seller in advance. Up for bids is a 1950 Hudson Commodore for restoration. The vehicle was recently acquired locally from the previous owner who was selling for health reasons. The prior owner had completely dismantled the car and had taken everything down to bare metal. The body and suspension were blasted and the doors. hood. trunk lid. fenders. etc. were chemically dipped. A patch panel was installed on the driver side front floor pan. The only other areas of rust are shown in the attached photos. The current owner reassembled the car so it could be transported. The frame and suspension have been painted with POR-15. and the body parts were sprayed with gray primer. This is a complete vehicle with the flywheel being the only known missing part. The radiator has been recored and the radio was restored. The dash and garnish moldings have been refinished with the original faux wood grain look. The engine turns free but will likely need rebuilding. The harmonic balancer is chipped and will need to be replaced. But check out those dual carbs and Twin H-Power air cleaners! A newly rebuilt wet clutch comes with the car. All of the stainless trim is in good condition except for one piece. The listing includes several reprinted Hudson shop manuals that will come in handy during the restoration process. Overall this is a good start on a very restorable vintage Hudson.
