BARN FIND!!!! 1940 Oldsmobile 5 Window Coupe with a 1955 Olds 324 V8. and 4 Spd. Tranny with Loads of Patina !!!!! just out of storage after 20 Plus YRS. Cool OLDSKOOL BUILD!!!!! This Olds sat inside a Barn and was not stored outdoors Body is all original and Super Solid. Frame and floors are like new. the Sheet metal is basically rust free (EXCEPT some Surface Rust!) The Olds Has the Original Front -end. The Motor and tranny are 1954. not sure of the r-end. We Buypassed the fuel system. did some prep work on the motor and got her running. Motor runs. BUT!!!! Nosiey sounds like a Bad connecting rod???? . This car has LOADS of Patina. would make a super Hotrod or Rat Rod!!!! We do not know the condition of the Brakes or driveline.
