Very unusual 1926 Cadillac model 314, 2 passenger opera coupe with a side golf club door. Besides this car, I have never seen another 2 passenger big Cadillac coupe from this era except in the Cadillac history books. Full CCCA Classic Cadillac. This is a very impressive looking car with it's long wheelbase and it's little 2 passenger inside compartment. There can not be many left like this, if any at all. My uncle's father picked up this car sometime during the 1940s. He was a car dealer and collector way back and used to find cars he liked and bring them home. He was one of the early members of the AACA. He towed many old cars in with his Ford Model AA Wrecker. Some cars he picked up during the depression of the 1930s and the WW2 Scrap Drives during the 1940s. The last registration on the window says June 1943. The car has been sitting for all this time, unmoved, 70+ years inside the barn up until a few months ago. The car is 100% complete. There is still a 70 year old battery hooked up and it held a charge long enough to blow the horn! The body is in very good condition for an unrestored 90+ year old original car. The frame and floors are strong. The wood spoke wheels are solid. Much of the woodwork in the body is very good. The original springs underneath are still wrapped in their original leather covers! The interior is original. The thick wood steering wheel still looks wonderful. So does the dash. The beautiful padded leather top is also original along with the side landau bars on the top. The original engine crank was inside the car and the motor turns. As much as I would like to keep this car, it's time to find her a good home and also make some needed extra storage space. This car would be the star of any show when restored or could be a great HPOF class car. The reserve is more than fair for a car like this. If you have any questions, or, if you would like to see the car in person before you bid, just let me know. NOTE.... Serious ready bidders only please. EBAY is not a game. My feedback has always been 100% since I signed up with EBAY 15 years ago so please be serious if you place a bid. I tell it like it is. I described this car down to a T. If you bid and win, you own the car. The winning bidder should be pleased at the reserve price. I have tons of extra photos so if there is any part of the car that you would like to see up close, please let me know and I will send more photos. Thank you.

Here is an update that needs to be known. I have been doing full long research on this car, trying to find out how many opera coupes like this were built and how many could still be left. I am a long time member of the AACA, a past President of the New Jersey Region AACA and also one of the head club historians so my research is, for the most part, pretty accurate. This long wheelbase coupe with the opera windows was only offered in 1926. This opera window coupe was not available before 1926 and not offered again after 1926. This body style was a one year only model. It cost over $3000 new for this 2 passenger coupe when a Model T Ford was $260 and a decent model Buick, Hudson, Nash or Studebaker sedans, ect cost around $1000. We can not find another 26 opera coupe to exist on record today. We may very well be looking at the only survivor left and that is pretty impressive. You will be very hard pressed to find another CCCA Full Classic original car like this for anywhere near the reserve. Thank you for the questions and nice comments.
