Diamond T 201 Pickup 1940

Trucks like this one come along once in a lifetime only 627 were made in 1940 and only a very limited few were built with the dual rear wheel option. No real way of knowing how many have survived over the years but - not very many would be a pretty good guess! Ready for restoration. Pre War 201 Diamond T Dually Truck. Please note the wood bed is not original to the truck. Quietest 6 cylinder we have heard in a very long time - "sewing machine quiet" - was used to tow in parades as is..... Diamond T's are considered the Cadillac of trucks in 1940 - Finding one that runs and drive is extremely rare - finding one that runs and drives with the original dual rear option is incredibly rare..... The Pre War 201 model was the smaller model for DT but still was built like a tank and conservatively listed as a 1 ton...

Would make a great parade truck or business advertisement! The title is listed as a numbers matching to vehicle plate however at some point the year was changed to 1946 on the title - Not uncommon as 0's and 6's are commonly transposed - should be easily fixed. Definitely a 1940 truck. Truck is for sale locally as well.
