1942 Chrysler Windsor Coupe

This absolutely beautiful 1942 Chrysler Windsor Coupe is one of just 250 made before WWII broke out. I have yet to find a finer example of this very rare automobile. Of the 95 classic cars I've owned, have never enjoyed driving a car like I enjoy driving this one. It is smooth, ast and just floats down the road. No disappointments here. Correct factory option package desirable 250 cu. in. flathead Chrysler Spitfire 6 cylinder 120 hp rebuilt engine. This car moves! Factory 16" wheels with Accessory Fender Skirts. Which by the way look awesome on this car. Chrysler Fluid Drive Transmission. Correct 2 barrel Carburetor. It sports the original factory Dove Gray Exterior with maroon and tan leather Interior. Comes with an undercarriage that you can eat off of at no extra charge. Coil spring front suspension with leaf spring rear suspension. Front and rear drum brakes. Accessory Fulton Sun Visor. Factory original rubber step plates and behind the seat mat; as well as the original rubber trunk mat. Body panels are laser straight. The trunk on this car fits 10 people comfortably.NOTE: The 'Fluid Drive' transmission is a (semi)automatic. The clutch is only to put it in gear from Neutral, r to change to Lo or Reverse. In normal driving, ou never touch the clutch, ot even at stops. An ingenious system and a pleasure to drive. Note: This is a 3 window Businessman's Coupe.
