1984 Bitter SCManufactured in West Germanyvin #W09526219ESB09020Production number #153 out of a total of 488 manufactured from 1980 thru 1989.This is a very early United States import and according the Vin number is the 20th US legal Bitter SC.Sold new at McGloin Buick in New Jersey. The first owner (a doctor) had it until his death in the late 80's. Purchased from a estate sale in NJ by second owner and brought out to CA in the early 90's. The Bitter was placed in storage and started occasionally but never registered or driven in CA.I purchased in March of 2015 from the second owner. The Bitter had been sitting for 20 plus years and was not in running condition. After new ignition wires, park plugs, uel filter, irflow meter and fresh fuel the bitter is now a running and driving car. It has a clean CA title in my name but is currently registered non-op. I have only driven the car on my short Cul-de-sac. Engine sounds good transmission shifts all the gauges work accept for the fuel gauge. Very old tires on original Ronal wheels. The transmission appears to be leaking from the pan gasket. The Bitter will need to be sorted out before becoming a driver. Please look at pictures closely. The interior is in beautiful condition and still has the factory Blaupunkt Stereo. The exterior paint is showing it's age with rust visible in a few areas including the passenger side door and bottom of front fender. Dent on passenger side quarter panel. The exhaust is original and will need attention in a few areas. The floorboards and chassis are clean and appear to be rust free. Factory jack, pace saver spare tire, ool kit and owners manual included. Please contact me thru Ebay with any questions. Thank you!
