Car description |
---|
Unfortunately after 20+ years this car is ready for a new home and in need of some more TLC that I can't give anymore.
Vintage, Rare, Collectible.
Running Driving, Post War GM Goodness. Very Stock very clean, no alteration, nothing on this car has been replaced down to all the electrical. (Except gel cell start up battery 6v) Recently rebuild carburetor is it. Mechanic's words were "that the car would drive to New York and back" although at cruising speed. Chrome needs some work, its all there but some (as shown in photo gallery) shows minor pitting.
The exterior paint is in good shape and has a nice shine, (would do well with a good detail) no rust problems no holes no bubbles just shine but would do well with a light cut and buff. The interior upholstery (Original Brown, with three vertical grey stripes) are in good condition everything about this car screams driver! When transporter parks in your driveway you will for sure be driving it off the trailer.
Interior has no problems except the right visor needs to be attached (all parts are there just needs to be attached as sometimes it comes out of the clamp. (Look at photo you will see it) I have really tried to list everything that this car needs to be worked on and its really all that it needs to drive to and enter your next local car show.
Right passenger small window with the lock needs to be put together as well, with the little original parts ( found in the glove compartment, see Photo).
Clock does not work I don't think any of them do. But I do believe that other small parts found from the clove compartment are there. (see photo)
Please look over the photos and video very well as I tried to be as complete, honest and forthright with the description and information about the car as I can. I want you to be very happy with this car, we have been and so should you.
It has always been a driver for us, it drives like a tank but its built like one too. I think its a great car for what it is. It could be for you too, as you could keep it as is or go through it and make it all new again. ( That's what is great about it never being touched, changed or changed from original) Really its a great empty canvas for what ever you would like Hot Rod or Cruiser it could be what ever you like.
