1967 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme "Springtime Special" Triple Yellow ConvertibleRare and unusual! I have only seen one other of these cars come on the market. I researched this car several years ago and found information that stated that each Oldsmobile Dealership got one of these triple yellow. highly optioned convertible as a springtime promotion. hence. the "Springtime Special". When listing the car. I "googled" and nothing came up. so not sure what the status is. Regardless. all the options and a bucket seat column shift car make it unusual. Nice Dry Western Project Car. Stored in a building in eastern Colorado for many years. For a muscle car. I would say that despite of needing a total restoration. it is very original and unmolested. Even has the original jack! The original yellow top boot cover is also there. you can see it spread out on the blue tarp. Mostly only surface rust. The car obviously spent sometime in the country on dirt roads because the bottom is "sandblasted" and dirty. but I do not see any evidence of salt exposure. Good lower "dogleg" of fenders. bottom of doors. trunk. etc-Options!AC. bucket seats. power trunk closure. remote mirror. power windows. power antenna. -Glass is good except windshield. which is readily available and reasonableThe BAD AND THE UGLY:-There is a small very localized rust issue that is visible in the trunk picture. It is at the base of the rear wheel well in the floor. I believe that there is a small body support there and probably collected dirt. A very common issue on even the driest of cars. -missing the radio and inside rear view bracket. easy items to find. believe they reproduce the mirror bracket. - I could not turn the motor over by hand. No indication of water in the engine or transmission. and the previous owner had it in a building for over 20 years.
