Classic Oldsmobile 4.3L Diesel Cutlass Ciera Sedan. This is a road-worthy specimen of the 1982-1985 era 6 cylinder Diesel Olds. An excellent restoration candidate - it needs only minor exterior repairs & paint. I have done the following things to make the automobile road worthy: Serviced the heads. Installed Head Gaskets, Intake Manifold set, Water Pump, Alternator, Serpentine belt, Oil & Filter. Reworked the fuel delivery: New fuel tank & strainer, inline and spin-on filters, new fuel transfer pump and injectors. New glow plug relay, motor and transmission mounts, shocks, struts and right CV boot. New wiper blades & headlight switch. Remanufactured steering rack & alignment. The interior needs headliner and dash repair. Otherwise the seats and carpet cleaned up very well. Seals around the windows and doors should be replaced. I have the moldings and emblems which are missing, storedin the trunk. All are there except for the drivers door molding, and the short piece that extends onto the fender. There is surface rust on the left inner fender and on the hood underside. The rear trunk lid is rusted from the inside in the usual place and might be replaced. Otherwise it's a very excellent example of an award winning automobile.
