I am the 3rd owner of this car. The person i bought it from was going to clone it into a 442. Instead he found a 442 convertible and i bought this one. the original owner was a doctor in the San Francisco area. He kept the car until his death then it was sold to 2nd owner at an estate sale. I have most of thereceiptsfor work done on the car from the original owner as well as myreceipts. When i saw this car prior to my buying it Icouldn'tbelieve the lack of rust. It was obviously garaged.I had the body steam cleaned and when i stripped the body i found 1 typical rust spot in the lower driver side rear fender which was cut out a repaired with welding in a new patch using new fender patch. It used about 4 x 6 inches of the patch. There was a second small rust hole about the size of a quarter next to the weep hole in the driver side rear beneath the seat. I replaced that with a fresh panel also.I have pictures of the underside of the car i can show you, s well as more pics of the car. ( ididn'thave them in my phone when i posted)I bought this car for my wife as she has always wanted a convertible. Unfortunately she has always wanted a Mustang convertible! So as you might imagine the Mustang is here now and the Cutlass is in the way!
