For sale ismy #s matching 1970 Oldsmobile 442 Hard Top Coupe with original build sheet. 3 year resto project.New code 28 Omni two stage paint that looks very sharp. The car came with a W25 hood that was beat up so I replaced it. I still have the original hood. When I purchased the car it did not have the O.A.I air cleaner etc. Someone had taken out the stock manifold and put in the edelbrock that is currently on. The original Rochester carb came with it and according to my research is correct for the O.A.I application. Some other options include 8 Tack Cassette player A/MF/M Radio(is not currently installed but will go with car), ual Gate Shifter, /C (will need the condenser to be complete), ower Brakes, 2 Bolt Posi 3:23 gears, lock (did not install as it did not work but goes with the car), ourtesy Lamps. The car was very solid and had no rot to any of the floors,frame, tc. Body: I lifted thebody and replaced the body bushings. New Black VinylTop (factory color was blue), ll new front and rear bumpers with the factory rear exhaust cut out, new emblems, ront grille. Drivetrain: Rebuilt#s matching 455 with 750 Quick fuel carb and Edelbrock manifold (I have a detailed list from my machine shop of what was done). #s TH400 transmission with B&M shift kit and new front and rear seals, new aluminum tranny pan, #s 12 bolt posi with 3:23 gears, N BF Goodrich Radial T/A 275/60 rear and 225/70 in the front on 15 in. Olds rally rims, N front and rear brakes with BN calipers and rotors. Interior:is in excellent condition andone of my favorite things. Factory Hurst Dual Gate shifter with mint center console, ucket seats, eupholstered rear seats from legendary interior, il and Temp gauges as well as Tachometer, port wheel,factory Rear Defogger. I have described this car to the best of my ability. I think the pictures will show you how nice this car is and how much work I have done. This beauty runs and drives amazing and have had many compliments. unfortunately I have had some home repairs take precedent and therefore the car needs to go. I would like to clarify the #s on the engine. when I took the engine out there was only a small portion of the I.D that were legible and not enough to verify. I don't know if this was from age or they were not done correctly from the factory. unfortunately I did not take pictures of the I.D prior to painting and installing as I had no plans to sell. I have no reason to believe that this was not the original motor for this car. I apologize for any confusion. Thank you.
