Car description |
---|
This car was a daily driver for the break in period, then became a weekend car. It then became a sitting car due to some Heart attacks.... It has been started and moved around... But I would advise a good going over from tires to belt, hoses, tighten valve cover gaskets, fluids, a tune up (I recently noticed a check engine light), and check the wiring for the fans (last time I started it I noticed they didn't turn on but it was cold out at the time) before going very far... It is a race car and is in no way perfect, but if it was the bidding would start at $10k
Regardless of my desire to race the Ferrari hill climbs, the doctors say "No More Chasing Adrenaline" So time to pass it on to a younger wheelman..
If you don't have a mechanic or are not mechanically inclined.... This probably isn't a car for you... It is streetable, but it is a race car at heart... she needs love, a tinkering hand, a turbo tuner, and to win....
Modifications aren't too extensive and are mostly to increase longevity of the Vg30.
I LOST the receipts for the rebuild. Parts and Mods
DXD stage 1 daily driver clutch and pressure plate.
ARP connecting rod bolts.
Deve's Swedish steel piston rings.
Clevite rod and main bearings.
3 angle valve grind and valve job by A+.
Ported heads.
Ported intake and exhaust manifolds.
Honed cylinder walls.
Victor Reinz multi-layer steel head gasket.
Walbro 255 lph fuel pum, wired at 12v constant. (with on/off switch)
Good Year timing tensioner and timing belt.
Good Year Alternator and Power steering belt.
2 12 inch fans for rad, wired by relay, switch controlled.
Inter-cooler with turbo xs blow off.
B&M short throw.
Cusco strut brace (rear).
Autopower roll Bar. tack welded in, needs a few more small welds
RJS Harness. (will probably need updated for sanctioned races)
Prothane poly bushing kit.
Tokico HP 5 way adjustable shocks on tokico springs(raked).
Turbo-back exhaust, 3 inch to a dump pipe.
Car runs 10 psi on an Mbc.
Does not pass SMOG!! It was last registered as a Classic Vehicle.
Tires are decent.
Cars runs great, makes ridiculous turbo noises, and is fun to drive.
