Car description |

For sale is my beloved JDM 300ZX/Fairlady Z Twin Turbo. Unfortunately for me, taking one kid at a time for a Sunday cruise to get ice cream is highly inefficient. Thus, it is time for something more practical.
I purchased this car in November 2015 while living in Japan. At the time of purchase, the vehicle had just over 47,500 kilometers on the odometer. It currently reads 53,057. I am the third registered owner. The original owner had the vehicle from date of purchase until 2010. The second owner had the car until 2015. The vehicle was auctioned to a dealership in Hiroshima, which is typical for used cars in Japan, and I purchased the vehicle from that dealership. The complete auction grading and inspection reports will transferred to the new owner. The dealership disclosed that the front lip spoiler and bumper were re-sprayed due to rock chipping. As depicted in the photo, the front lip spoiler sustained subsequent damage during trailered transport in the U.S.
I brought the vehicle back to the U.S. with me in the summer of 2016. I have all the documentation associated with the importation (i.e., Japanese export certificate, EPA 3502, NHTSA HS-7). The car was originally registered and titled in my name in Texas. It is currently registered and titled in my name in Virginia. The VIN isCZ32504692.
The interior is in like-new condition with no rips, tears, etc. in the charcoal tweed seats or door panels. All accessories, including A/C, work as new with the exception of intermittent digital clock functionality. The bodywork is in fantastic condition with no dents or other imperfections noticeable. The paint is in very good condition. There are very small oxidation spots (series of 2-3 tiny raindrops) on the FL fender that is beyond my admittedly very limited compounding skills. Mechanically, the vehicle drives as expected for a car that has been well-maintained with just over 32,000 miles, which is to stay, excellent. Aside from the intake and exhaust components listed below, the engine and drivetrain are in stock condition.
Now, onto the list of interesting features and recent maintenance.
Options and modifications present at time of purchase:- Rare NISMO ceramic mufflers (see NISMO documentation photo);- JDM option "300ZX" graphics on hatch glass and sides (see options photo);- JDM option green glowing "300ZX" rear center panel insert (see options photo);- Veilside power mirrors;- Greddy GRacer rear wing;- Unknown fiberglass front lip spoiler;- WORK wheels (17x7.5 front and 17x8.5 rear);- RNC single pop-style intake (later replaced with JWT pop in September 2016);- Starbo turbo timer;Maintenance and recent modifications:- 60k maintenance (timing belt, water pump, cam seals, VTC springs, etc.) completed and cam gears replaced in Spring 2016 at just over 48,000 kilometers (see timing belt cover photo).- Yokohama ECOS 235/45 front tires with 255/40 in the rear (Spring 2016). 5,000 relatively easy kilometers on the tires.- JWT single-pop intake, which replaced RNC branded pop-style intake as noted above (September 2016). - Redline fluids - 5w40 engine oil (annually), 75w90 rear differential fluid (June 2018), MT90 manual transmission fluid (June 2018).- Stoptech 332mm front BBK (slotted rotors, red ST-40 calipers, pads, adapter brackets, SS lines, ATE type 200 fluid) (July 2018).Original front calipers are included in sale.- Stoptech rear axle brake set (slotted rotors, pads, SS lines, ATE type 200 fluid) (July 2018).- SPL Pro Titanium tension rods (July 2018). Original tension rods are included in sale. One tension rod bushing is leaking silicone, hence, the replacement.
Finally, the sale comes with a custom car cover designed for the F40-style rear wing. Please let me know if you have any questions and happy bidding!
