Car description |
---|
This classic black & white beauty that just gets better with age. This '59 has had some resto work done by the world famous Pit Stop in North Hollywood, A. I have the repair order which details each and everything done to the car. This car has been meticulously maintained by me in the years that I have owned it. I keep it garaged, nd have even entered it in a few car shows. Upholstery is in good shape, ut could use a cleaning. The passenger window doesn't always stay up. Aftermarket seat belts have been installed in the front. Aftermarket gauges have been installed, ut are non operable. The motor is strong, teering is solid (new steering box) new shocks, rakes are good, ranny is smooth, hifts effortlessly. I drive it most weekends, he car rattles a bit when going over uneven pavement. I don't usually drive it on LA freeways, ut it gets up and goes....to about 50mph. To be honest, t's not like driving a newer car, t's like driving a 54 year old vehicle. Fun, asy to drive, nd quirky. Definitely a head turner and great on gas. Everything original works, ven the license plate light. There are a couple of little nicks in the paint, ut nothing that detracts from this beautiful 56 year old rust-free car. I will be happy to supply a list of everything that has been done to the car over the past several years.INSPECTION/TEST DRIVE:I will make the car available for test driving and/or inspection, ith reasonable notice.
