1989 Mitsubishi Montero LS ls 3.0l V-6

This a rare find for those who like rugged vehicles. This Montero has been in the family for some 28 years mostly spent in Florida for family use. Currently the Montero is being stored in Massachusetts, though still titled and was registered in Florida, was register until recently. It still runs pretty good and the transmission and 4x4 are great. The engine was rebuilt several years back, uncertain when.The large sun roof works fine. For many years my wife has enjoyed driving the Montero, feeling safer sitting high she became attached over the years and hates to let it go, but it is time. As you can see from pictures the body show rust thru, right and left rear wheel wells and lower panels, the rocker panels both sides, generally the floors appear ok with the exception possible a small area drivers side. The frame itself appears to have mostly surface rust/scale but pretty solid, other related components need attention. For safety purposes the gas lines and brake lines should best be replaced, and the power steering hose has a leak. The Montero still runs ok on the road. One rugged vehicle.
