Up for auction is a '92 Delica, I own 3 & am keeping my white '91 as it a better color for my area. If you're reading this you probably know about these vehicles, so I'll get to the details. Very nice for a 25 YO van, 1st year legal here. I bought it last year on Vancouver Island & stored it until it's 25th birthday, had a new head/water pump/radiator/timing belt done a year before I bought it, about $2K in parts. I'm going back this week to bring in it's stick shift twin & have a line on a nice '94 400, so this needs to go a little sooner than I thought. starts & runs like it should. Interior decent, one mismatched middle seat has a split, carpet has stains, fuzzy stuff on trim coming off. Power sun shades all work, also has flip of sunroof above cab. Rear hatch is missing interior panel. Body is almost rust free, minor bubbling where I removed damaged fender flares, a couple of minor dents. Roof has been repaired once years ago, & I redid some of it again. While these 5 glass roofs are really cool, I've yet to see one that doesn't have or need repair. Underside sheetmetal unibody also very nice. Heavier rust on mild steel running gear like most. Has factory AC intact, but I haven't gotten it working. Most owners in Canada never use it & many at least remove the belt. Looks like #3 injector has a minor leak at the line. Brand new windshield, front brake calipers & rubber lines.
I'm listing this with a reserve at half of what the so called dealers are asking on here. If it doesn't sell this time, I'll touch up the body & tweak the other minor issues, reserve will go up a few $K, just listing it now as I want that 400, & then have to store it up there a couple of years. Beside only crazy people own 4 Delica's! The whole idea was to buy 3 a year or so early to offset the cost of the one I'm keeping. I'm waiting on the Utah title in my name, legally imported, just takes DMV a little longer. I've done this before. Ebay won't accept the actual VIN, so I used a BC, Canada 16 digit.
If you're looking for a decent Delica at a reasonable price, you may have found it, a little elbow grease will get it to the next stage. I should have the manual trans van available on here in month or so. I prefer the auto in these, but that's my opinion.
I'm in So Utah, 2 hrs North of Las Vegas NV.
