Check out Zappa Racing in Pa. website shows this beauty on there as one of their restorations and being soldby them in 2015.. Very high class foreign car dealer and restorations business.
(See picture) of email between previous owners about all the cars details, restoration and all new parts and a no bondo car. A lot done to this pretty ride. EVERYONE WAVES AT ME DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD !!
A very fun and nice running, good looking restored 1968 MGC GT, 4 speed with six-cylinder inline 6 w/Overdrive. I was told and read this is the original engine w/overdrive and 4 speed transmission and only 83474 miles and rebuilt engine and transmission, gearbox and overdrive rebuilt 2014. Miles might be more when sold as I drive it around the neighborhood and car shows.
Very solid and clean. When I bought it, I stuck a magnet around the whole are. A super solid rare MGC.
I admit I'm not an MG guy and this came from a neighbors estate. This vehicle was purchased in 2014 from Mike Zappa racing on Hemmings magazine listing. Listing price was $29,995. Zappa racing preformed the body on restoration. The buyer paid $27,000 plus $780 for shipping and had it Delivered to Idaho Jan. 2015. This owner put on roughly 560 miles after purchasing. The estate I got the MGC advised she paid $25,000 for the car and had it delivered to Florida in 2016. She also told me she paid 25K for it. She put on less than 250 miles due to becoming ill. I seen it in her garage for 4 years and she was for sure to ill to drive it. Its a very pretty nice running car.
Please email for additional pictures of questions and I will do my best to get them answered ASAP.
The vehicle is privately owned and is open for inspections in Punta Gorda, Fl and will be located here for pickup by shipper of your choice.
