1965 MGB ROADSTER. PULL DOOR HANDLE. NICELY RESTORED CAR. MECHANICALLY EXCELLENT

Offered for sale, from KURT TANNER MOTORCARS, is this very tidy early MGB Roadster with pull door handles. This car was just purchased from it's caring owner in Boise, Idaho who lovingly maintained the car and enjoyed it often. A downsizing to a smaller home offered no garage space for the MG, so we purchased it from him.This very honest car presents nicely in it's Tartan Red with red interior color scheme. The body on this car is excellent. Paintwork presents well and is very nice and glossy. There's a small ding on the RH fender and small blemish around the LH headlamp. Besides that, it's excellent with only a few door edge chips from use. Brightwork is very nice overall with mostly original chrome. There's a crack in the windshield on the RH side from a stone chip.The car's interior was renewed with Moss leather seat kits, new thick red wool carpets, and a black panel kit. The black soft top is in very good condition. The early metal dashboard has been restored and looks quite crisp. The car has been fitted with a custom steering wheel.Mechanically, the car is a dream. It behaves perfectly as a well-maintained car should with a robust original 3-main engine and precise gearbox, good brakes, steering and suspension, and is an absolute joy to drive. It starts easily on the key with great oil pressure, no smoke or noises, and revs well through it's great sounding Ansa exhaust system. The original engine compartment has been steam cleaned and the engine nicely detailed. There's an auxiliary cooling fan fitted for hot summer days. Newer tires are fitted to the car's original and simple-looking disc wheels with hubcaps. There is a box of extra spares, finishing carpet, tonneau rail in the bag, original air cleaners, etc.The car's underside shows a super solid and bone dry undercarriage, all around. The driver's side floor panel was professionally replaced with a correct factory stamping. There's really nothing else evident.Overall, a super attractive and desirable early pull doorhandle MGB with great mechanicals and sharp cosmetics. This gem of a British sportscar drives very well and is ready to be loved again by it's next caretaker.
