1949 MG-TC being sold by a T-Series owner since 1965. A barn find in Connecticut in the late '90's. Properly stored and cared for by its previous owner. No rust whatsoever. no rot whatsoever. A straight. undamaged frame. Raced at some point in its history according to its previous owner although I have no documentation. Supercharged and tastefully modified into race configuration. per the pictures. Beautiful. nbsp;rebuilt Roots-Marshall blower with vacuum gauge. The best of many blowers I've had over the years. The engine is a factory replacement per the plate on the side of the engine. possibly replaced at some point in the '50's or '60's. I did a detailed engine rebuild and it sounds wonderful. Starts easily and quickly. blower hums. oil pressure is high when cold or warm. BUT. it's got a rear main leak and I'm just too old and tired to fix it. It DOES need to be fixed for regular driving! Moss rear main kit. Alfin drums and 16" racing wheels. Pre-war aluminum wings with J-2 wingstays. Bobbed rear fenders. Louvered hood with leather strap. Moss 5 speed transmission. easily returnable to original. VW steering box. easily returnable to original. High torque starter. easily returnable to original. Tripod lamps. Good electrics throughout except the horn isn't connected. New cloth covered wiring harness. Craig Seabrook dash. Nice. quality work as always. All gauges work properly. Note that speedo and tach are black faced. something I've only seen one other timeon a TC in the many years I've owned one. Derrington steering wheel. Interior is done to the point I wanted it to be for racing. Numerous spares - block. nice crankshaft. two TC heads. pistons. rings. bearings. nbsp;flywheel. oil pump. oil filter assembly. radiator. two sumps. headlamps. boxes of 'stuff'. nbsp;Whitworth tools. some going back to my earliest T-Series cars. Numerous books and tech manuals. I just need to clear it all out. Original New England MG-T Register badge from 1965 on the radiator. Worn. tired. and still looking good!
