Production of the MGB began in October 1962 just after the production of the MGA had ceased. Though often referred to as a roadster the MGB had roll up windows outside door handles and vent wings. A Mark II version was added in 1967 and the car stayed in production until 1980 becoming one of the most successful British sports cars of all time with a total of over 300000 cars being exported to the U.S. alone. We are pleased to offer for your consideration this 1974 MG MGB. It is finished in Dam...ask Red paint and shows well. It shows some signs of age but remains very solid. This car was well cared for and loved for many years. It just came to us out of a collection and when the owner purchased it years ago he had the car shipped to the MG guru John Twist and had the car gone through. Over 1000 dollars were spent making sure this British beauty was ready for the open road. The MGB has beautiful chrome bumpers spare tire tire kit tonneau cover luggage rack and more. The engine fires right up and the car can be driven anywhere with confidence. Under the hood is in immaculate condition and shows well. The 1.8L 4 cylinder engine is mated to a manual transmission with overdrive. When you open the trunk even the trunk light works. The black convertible top was replaced 10 years ago and still looks brand new. Spring is here and summer is not too far behind making this the perfect time of year to get behind the wheel of this MGB.
