Car description |
---|
Original Damask Red paint. 2 spray cans of matching touch-up paint included, along with 3 cans of matching headliner paint.
Vehicle is originally from Pennsylvania.
I have information from the 4 previous owners of the car. I am the 6th owner.
New ignition coil, plugs, plug leads, distributor, air filters, 12 gallon fuel tank, recently rebuilt twin HIF4 carbs, and much more.
There is some light surface rust on the rear leaf springs, but nothing a good sanding would take care of. There is no deep rust on the car. It's been in a garage for the last 10 years and the body is in great shape.
Interior is brand new from Moss. Front seats recently recovered and back seat is all brand new. Original jack and tire iron included.
This car comes with all 4 original CHROME rostyle wheels and 4 brand new Pirelli tires. The original spare is also included with a brand new, never used tire.
Will also include 2 bottles of dash pot oil, 3 bottles of ZDDP, spare sunroof, vintage British Leyland radio, MG mudflaps, MG seatbelt cushions, bullet connector sleeves, miscellaneous odds and ends, and numerous extra nuts and bolts.
I've never done a compression test on the car because I've never had a reason to. The car runs and drives very well and has the original "black label" overdrive unit. I've driven it a total of 700 miles with The new sunroof is an original Wesbasto that was in a box when I got the car. It's brand new out of the box but it's at least 15 years old, meaning that it's a vintage Webasto.
It's getting harder and harder to find these cars unmolested and in turn key condition. Don't let it slip through your fingers!!!!!
