Description
The carb was upgraded to a Weber model. A new 2" Flowmaster muffler and ceramic header were installed. The ignition was replaced with Pertronix electronic and Accel 8.8mm wires and iridium plugs. The front brakes were upgraded with GT-V8 Greenstuff pads and ventilated discs with all brake lines upgraded to braided stainless. The rear brakes were completely replaced, drums, shoes, hardware, and hydraulics. All the rubber bushings were upgraded to poly. A center console from a newer MGB was installed. The problematic factory fuse box was rewired and replaced. The valve cover gasket was replaced with silicone and the valve lash was adjusted. The thermostat was replaced. New BFG tires were installed on Minilite rims. All light housings replaced. Will send additional pictures or videos upon request.
