If I had any hay bales, I could probably call this a barn find.It is stored in my 1920 barn in Downtown Sebring Florida, and I have stored it inside about 5 years. Prior to that, it was bought by a Miami British car enthusiast in 1992.I do not know if he drove it or simply stored it outside by his house, Eventually it was sold to another enthusiast, who stored it under a cover several years; I acquired it from his estate. The only change he made, was to remove clutch/brake master cylinder pedalbox, and remove side mouldings, planning to paint it..I may have another pedal box, or cylinders, but am not certain, and have side strips; though the strips are best bought new.. This is one of the most original looking cars you will find, almost unchanged for 24 years.as photos show, interior and seats look good, except for door top rails, and dash top.I would suggest treating all vinyl with Armorall, due to long storage. Headliner looks good.It has 4 good rolling wire wheels and tires but no spare wheel. .Mileage on speedometer is 36,797, probably original, due to the long storage. It has minor dents on the roof, but no accident damage.Aluminum hood or bonnet has paint chips, but is good. We have no road salt in Florida, but do have rain. Outer sills should be replaced.there is rust by end of right rear bumper, and lower hatch lid, but not not bottom edge.Trunk spare tire Floor well has some rust. There are a few small rust spots, but overall it is a solid car., unlike most Northern cars. Worst spots are at bottom of right windshield post and a smaller spot at bottom of left windshield post. I treated surface rust under the car, when I acquired it and painted red or black. Engine turns over, but carburetors should be rebuilt before starting. It is 4 speed non overdrive. The car needs to be properly restored including brakes and hydraulic system, to be a driver, but needs metal work, paint and rubber seals as outlined or shown in photos,to make it into a very nice car. I would prefer to have the car picked up, but could arrange shipping to Miami or Ft Lauderdale for $500. Unlike most people,I am experienced at and will will ship overseas, and have a good international shipping agent I have used a long time, in Ft. Lauderdale, that ships in containers to England, Holland, Germany, some Scandinavian countries reasonably..The car has a Florida title, but I can title it in your your name, with a Florida title, using power of attorney for $200, even if you are not a Florida resident. This may have advantages for shipping overseas. This is a personal sale, I am not a dealer, but have thousands of English parts, including MGB parts, I sell on my ebay store, Old English Motor Company. You may reach me at T. 1 954 524 JAGUAR, or C.1 954 524 7278.Thank you, James Dean
