1970 Mercury Montego MX Brougham
351 Cleveland, C4 Transmission, 9 inch rearend
Upgraded Valvetrain, Moderate Camshaft, Edelbrock dual plane airgap intake, 670 Holley Street Avenger carburetor with electric choke.
All Mechanical systems have been gone through, extremely dependable vehicle, I would not hesitate to get in this car and drive it anywhere. As a matter of fact this vehicle was chosen for a 1500 mile trip from Colorado to New York. A trip which it completed without any issues. The car is originally from California and then Colorado.
Extremely fun car to drive, gets a ton of attention, and the best part is no one ever knows what it is. Most people have never seen or heard of one of these cars and most likely will never see one again. Pretty rare vehicle.
To view a complete walk-around video review of the vehicle, search Youtube for “Cross Country in a 1970 Mercury Montego†the channel is “Lever Family Racingâ€
