1974 Mercury Comet GT (Maverick)

1974 Comet GT, Factory 302 V8 with manual transmission and mostly original orange paint. All sheet metal appears to be original, excluding driver's door. I purchased it several years ago while traveling in the South with the intention of restoring, but between work and family I don't have the time.
The Comet was stored for many years and needs lots of work to make it road worthy. It's mostly original with a few exception. Please review the pictures closely. It is in the same condition when I found and purchased it.
The manual transmission removed. The previous wanted to update the Comet with a 5 speed Mustang transmission and is included with the sale.The body is fairly solid with very minimum rust. There is rust in the floorboards. Solid frame and substructure. The headliner and carpet needs to be replaced. Driver's bucket seat torn. Windshield cracked.Dent in the hood. It does not roll easily.

The engine looks to be original. Previous owner(s) added dual exhaust and headers, chrome value covers and air cleaner along with a Accel dual pointdistributor. The Comet has not ran in years. I have not done anything with the Comet, including trying to start.My intentions were to restore the Comet and rebuild the drive train.
