1974 Comet Drag car /Maverick

1974 Comet drag car. This was a car I built to bracket race at local track. It has 289 ford engine with forged Trw pistons. Also has DSS main support on block. Engine has e303 roller cam and Howard solid roller lifters. Engine has been balance and has sfi flex plate. Intake is vic jr edlebrock and ported 302 ford heads. Has roller rockers and summit carb. Transmission is c4 automatic with 3200 stall converter and tci valve body. Rearend is 8inch ford with 4. 10 gear and spool. Has fuel cell with holley electric fuel pump. Has roll bar and subframe connectors. I would also dive this car to local cruises. Paint is low budget. Door window and rear window are lexan and doors are gutted for weight. It is a drag car that has working horn. urn signals and brake lights . eadlights. I reccomend this car for track and occasional limited street use . uch as a local car club meet. Transmission does have a small leak when car sets few days. I can not warranty anything on the car. It was built to preform at racetrack and is high maintenance toy.
